We believe that the family is the best place for children to receive the love and care they need to grow into healthy adults. We also recognize that families sometimes need support in order to meet their children's needs. We are committed to working with families to ensure the well-being of their children. However, children are not always able to live with their own families. In these situations, F&CS will arrange for children to be cared for by another family — relatives, friends, and/or foster families.
