F&CS helps all those involved and interested in the adoption process, where children become a permanent and legal part of a new family. Adoptive families participate in rigorous screening and training before a child is placed with them.

F&CS has trained staff who provide counselling for pregnant mothers and information for families who wish to adopt children. We also help adopted adults who are looking for information about their birth families and birth families who are requesting information about a child who was placed for adoption. F&CS places children aged from birth up to 16 years of age.

F&CS holds regular Adoption Information Sessions for people interested in learning more about adoption. To register for one of sessions, please call Margo Davis at 519.824.2410 x 222.

All meetings start at 6:00 pm and end by 8:00 pm. These meetings are held at our Victoria Street office.

Ontario's Expert Panel on Infertility and Adoption will be posting a survey online on November 14, 2008 to gather information from Ontarians who have an interest in or experiences with infertility, its treatment or the adoption system.

If you have sought or used help with infertility or adoption in Ontario, are a provider of these services, were adopted or donor conceived, or have opinions you want to offer, the expert panel is interested in hearing about your experience.

Le Comité d'experts en matière d'infertilité et d'adoption de l'Ontario affichera  une enquête le 14 novembre 2008 afin d'obtenir les témoignages d'Ontariennes et Ontariens ayant un intérêt ou de l'expérience relativement aux services d'infertilité ou au système d'adoption.

Si vous avez obtenu ou cherché à obtenir de l'aide en matière d'infertilité ou d'adoption en Ontario, êtes un fournisseur de ces services, avez été adopté ou conçu à l'aide d'un donneur, ou avez une opinion à partager, le comité d'experts a besoin de votre témoignage. C'est la raison pour laquelle nous avons élaboré cette enquête.
