2009 AGM
We were excited to hold our Annual General Meeting this year with four other community agencies. This joint event, entitled "Together 09" was a collaborative effort of Family and Children's Services, Family Counselling and Support Services, Guelph Community Health Centre, Trellis, and the Volunteer Centre. Each agency held their own business meeting in various rooms at Rozanski Hall, and then everyone came together for a social time followed by guest speaker Paul Born.

The F&CS Alumni Award was presented to a graduate from Give Yourself Credit, the Award of Merit was presented to Wyndham House for their work on the Guelph youth shelter, and F&CS graduation awards were presented to high school graduates.

Guest speaker Paul Born, above, spoke about the value of community collaboration. Paul Born is a co-founder of Tamarack, and institute for community engagement.
