The Board of Directors provides high-level leadership and governance for the organization by providing oversight of the organization’s operations, performance and outcomes. Committees of the Board provide leadership on specific issues. Board and Committee Members attend regular meetings and are also encouraged to attend FCSGW events and participate in the life of the organization.
Applications for the Board of Directors are not being sought at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Updated information will be posted here when Board members are being actively recruited.
Skills and Experience:
We are committed to having our Board represent our community with a broad mix of experience, knowledge, and skills. We are particularly interested in the broad perspectives that people with diverse abilities, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, and ethnicity would bring. Orientation and mentorship will be provided and training is available.
Board applicants must be able to attend meetings in Guelph on the first Wednesday evening of each month and participate on one committee for a total of approximately 4-6 hours per month, plus meeting preparation time.
