We know that children get what they need when families get what they need, and firmly believe that being with family is best for children and youth to receive the love and care they need to grow into healthy adults.
When families are facing complex issues, including poverty, homelessness, mental health challenges, isolation, and other challenges, we want to do all that we can to help them.
Your support enables us go beyond our mandated work as a Children’s Aid Society, to provide our families with resources and opportunities that they otherwise would not have access to, helping them to overcome their biggest challenges, and thrive!

Child and Family Opportunity Fund
Sometimes, when a family is facing a complex challenge, a new opportunity, or access to specific resources can provide just what they need to move forward. But often, this type of unique support can be difficult to find.
Your gifts help us to fill local gaps in support to ensure that our families have what they need to overcome big challenges in their lives, when they can’t find the support they need elsewhere.
Building Connections to Family and Culture
It is extremely important for children and youth to have lifelong connections to caring adults in their lives, and remain connected to their community and culture.
Through supporting access to connective technologies, transportation to visits with family, and other needs that support ongoing connection to family, community and culture, your gifts encourage relationship continuity and a sense of community and identity for our youth after they leave care.
