Why We Give
Wendy and Ed Clayson joined the Agency’s Garden of Support through the sponsorship of one of the family visitation rooms at the new Agency head office on Eramosa Road. When families need to be in the Agency’s offices, these rooms offer a home styled environment for reading a story, watching a film, playing games or sharing a meal.
As a member of the Children First Campaign team Ed advocated on the behalf of the children and youth in the Agency’s care.
Wendy and Ed explain that, “Giving to Family and Children’s Services of Guelph and Wellington County is a privilege. We understand that we are blessed and because of this, we like to give to others who are less fortunate. We aim to practice the value that it is better to give than to receive, and this includes giving back to our community. We trust that this practical gift will truly make a lasting difference in the lives of children within Guelph and the surrounding area.”
